1.Student Competition Awards

In recent years, students of the Faculty have won a total of various provincial and above-level competition awards, including 1 Bronze Award in the China International College Students’ Innovation Competition, 1 provincial and higher award in the National Internet Plus College Students’ Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, 16 provincial and higher awards in the National College Students’ E-Commerce Innovation, Creativity and Entrepreneurship Challenge, 12 provincial and higher awards in the OCALE Cross-border E-commerce Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, 34 provincial and higher awards in the National Digital Trade Skills Competition, 9 provincial and higher awards in the National College Students’ Comprehensive Digital Trade Skills Competition, 8 provincial and higher awards in the National University Economic Decision-Making Virtual Simulation Experiment Competition, 3 provincial and higher awards in the 3rd National University Digital Business Decision-Making Innovation Competition, 4 provincial and higher awards in the National Smart Bank Digital Operation Competition, 89 provincial and higher awards in the National College Students’ Finance Challenge, and 1 provincial and higher award in the 2023 BRICS Skills Competition (Smart Finance), as well as 42 other provincial and ministerial-level awards.

In the first half of 2025, students obtained 242 discipline competition awards (including 1 sports competition award and 11 awards for junior college students). In the second half of 2025, students won 140 discipline competition awards (including 10 art competition awards and 7 awards for junior college students). The total number of competition awards in 2025 reached 382.

2.School-Enterprise Cooperation Projects

The Faculty continuously innovates the industry-education integration mechanism and gives full play to complementary resource advantages between the Faculty, enterprises and industry associations. It has jointly built 6 internship and training bases with enterprises and industry associations including COFCO Futures, Vanho Securities and Henan E-Commerce Association. Among them, 1 base has been approved as the Off-campus Practical Education Base for Undergraduate Universities of Henan Province, and 2 as university-level off-campus practical education bases. In the past three years, the Faculty has obtained 10 Industry-Education Cooperation and Collaborative Education Projects approved by the Ministry of Education, with the in-place funds for horizontal research projects reaching RMB 928,000. Meanwhile, the Faculty has taken multiple measures to integrate industry resources and encouraged teachers to compile textbooks tailored to industry development needs and applied talent cultivation requirements. In the past three years, 1 applied undergraduate textbook has been published through school-enterprise cooperation, effectively integrating cutting-edge industry knowledge into the curriculum system.

3.Laboratory and Training Base Construction

(1)Laboratory Construction

Relying on the Henan Economic and Management Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center, the Faculty has continuously optimized the virtual-real integrated experimental teaching environment. It has built 12 professional laboratories covering financial investment and international trade simulation training, with a total area of 2,160 square meters. The total value of laboratory equipment assets reaches RMB 9.95234 million, including 789 sets of facilities and equipment and 36 sets of experimental teaching software resources. The Faculty offers 37 courses with 227 experimental projects, mainly undertaking experimental teaching, on-campus professional practice and training tasks. These facilities strongly support students’ experimental training, graduation design, innovation and entrepreneurship training. In 2014, the Faculty was approved as one of the Eighth Batch of University Experimental Teaching Demonstration Centers in Henan Province.

(2)Training Base Construction

The Yellow River Investor Education Base, jointly built by the Faculty and COFCO Futures, has been recognized as a provincial-level investor education base and a provincial-level off-campus practical teaching base for undergraduate students. The Faculty has established 6 internship and training bases in cooperation with enterprises and industry associations such as COFCO Futures, Vanho Securities and Henan E-Commerce Association, including 1 provincial-level and 2 university-level off-campus practical education bases for undergraduate universities in Henan Province.

4.Social Service Achievements

(1)Teachers’ Social Service Achievements

Closely responding to regional economic development needs, Faculty teachers have undertaken 52 horizontal research projects with in-place funds of RMB 928,000 in the past three years, providing direct services for industrial enterprises through technical consultation and project research. A total of 10 Industry-Education Cooperation and Collaborative Education Projects have been approved by the Ministry of Education to promote industrial resources feeding back into teaching. One applied textbook has been published through school-enterprise cooperation to integrate cutting-edge industry knowledge into the curriculum system. Scientific research achievements have been transformed into 14 teaching cases (2 included in the national case library) and 2 provincial-level virtual simulation experimental projects, realizing two-way empowerment of teaching feedback and social service through scientific research. Leveraging think tank achievements to provide policy suggestions and carrying out social training in blockchain, digital economy and other fields, the Faculty has built an integrated social service ecosystem integrating industry, university, research and application.

(2)Students’ Social Service Achievements

Students carry out diverse social practices based on their professional strengths. They have set up financial knowledge popularization teams to promote anti-fraud knowledge in communities and help protect residents’ property safety. They fulfill social responsibilities and cultivate personal integrity through orientation services, volunteer work and other labor practices. They actively participate in cultural communication: their dance performance Vast Land won the Second Prize at the Provincial Art Festival, and themed activities such as red drama performances promote positive cultural values. Supported by disciplinary competition achievements (including 220 provincial and higher-level awards in cross-border e-commerce innovation, financial challenges and other competitions), students have improved their professional service capabilities. The Faculty has formed a two-way driven service model integrating professional knowledge and social needs, fully demonstrating the practical value and social responsibility of applied talents.
