7. University Profile

City University of Macau is one of Macau's four comprehensive universities offering full-degree programs (Bachelor, Master, and Doctor levels). It serves as a key base for international English proficiency testing in Macau and is a member of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao University Alliance, the World Interpreting and Translation Education Alliance, and the International Alliance of Design Institutes.

The university comprises 10 faculties, offering over 40 Chinese- and English-taught programs, including 12 undergraduate, 20 master's, and 15 doctoral degrees. It houses 17 research institutes and centers, along with an International Training and Testing Center. It emphasizes a multidimensional learning model integrating: International Learning, Experiential Learning, Cross-Cultural Learning, Peer Learning,Value-Added Learning. Notably, the doctor, master and bachelor degree programs in tourism management are characteristic courses that have been certified by the United Nations World Tourism Organization for quality education in Macao.
