On the morning of June 5th, the founding conference and unveiling ceremony ofHenanGuangyaEducationFoundation, which was initiated and registered byHenanProvincialDepartment ofCivilAffairs andHenanProvincialDepartment ofEducation, was held in theConcertHall of theArtBuildingin Shengda.

With independent legal personality established for the inheritance of the founder, Mr. Wang Guangya’s spirit and the concept of running a school, the Henan Guangya Education Foundation is a charitable organization initiated by Mr. Wang Guangya, the founder of ShengdaUniversity.

The basic purpose of thefoundation is to accept donations from alumni and the community toreward faculty and students who contribute to teaching and research,to fund the research and promotion of the educational philosophy of the faculty and students of the family's financial difficulties，to provide support for strengthening the links and cooperation between educational institutions and various circles at home and abroad,to promote the sustainable development of schools and the progress of education in Henan Province.

On the morning of that day, more than 500 leaders, distinguished guests, teachers and students attended the founding conference ofGuangyaEducationFoundation. The inaugural meeting was presided over byProfessorCui Muyue,ExecutiveVice President of our university.

Theconferencebegan with the national anthem of the People’s Republic of China. In the warm applause, the guests jointly inaugurated theGuangyaEducationFoundation.

Dr. Wang Xinqi, Executive Director of Shengda University and Honorary Chairman of the Guangya Education Foundation, delivered a speech in the conference. He introduced the origin of the Guangya Foundation and said that thefoundation will extensively contactwithalumni and social resources. He said that the foundation will takestandardize management, rationally use all kinds of donation funds, and make unremitting efforts to carry forwardtheeducation cause ofMr. Wang Guangya.

The distinguished guests spoke highly of thebrilliant achievements of Mr. WangGuangya. Theytalked about the far-reaching significance of the establishment of the foundation and wishedthe educational cause ofMr. WangGuangyato have a bright future.

At the ceremony, the foundation accepted donations from allcircles in the society. In the end, the ceremonyhad a successfulending with the students recitation of Shengdamotto and the melodioussong by students.
