From September 19 to 21, 2025, the Henan Division Final of the 9th Yixue Cup National Business English Practical Skills Competition was held in Zhengzhou. Centered around the theme Cross-border Digital Marketing, the competition attracted over 200 teachers and students from 27 teams representing 20 universities across Henan province. Two teams composed of students majoring in Business English from the School of Foreign Languages demonstrated excellent performance, both won second prize.


The competition used a format combining an Online Knowledge Test and a Live Roadshow Presentation, with each segment accounting for 50% of the final score. The knowledge test assessed theoretical knowledge and practical skills in areas such as international trade and cross-border e-commerce. The roadshow segment required teams to develop a project proposal based on the theme, which included a PowerPoint presentation followed by a Q&A session with judges, highlighting the innovation and feasibility of their ideas.
