The opening ceremony for the 2025 Taiwan StudentsHenan ProvinceCulture Summer Camp, hosted byShengda, was grandly held on the morning of July 2nd in the International Conference Hall of the Administration Building. Distinguished guests from both sides of the Taiwan Strait, university leaders, and all the teachers and students participating in the summer camp attended the ceremony.

At the ceremony, University Board Chairman Wang Xinqi delivered a welcome speech on behalf of the institution. He extended a warm welcome to the teachers and students from Taiwan and expressed gratitude to all those who facilitated the event. He encouraged the students to maintain an open mindset, actively communicate, and deeply experience theHenan Provinceculture during the camp, aiming for personal growth. He further expressed hope that this event would serve as an opportunity to deepen the friendship and cooperation between the two universities and contribute jointly to promoting the excellent traditional Chinese culture.

A representative of the Taiwanese teachers spoke during the ceremony, stating that this exchange not only crosses the strait geographically but also connects hearts and minds. It provides a valuable opportunity for Taiwanese students to step beyond their textbooks and gain firsthand experience, she said, expressing hope for more interactions in the future to jointly write a new chapter in cross-strait exchanges. A representative of the Taiwanese students also spoke, conveying profound anticipation for the cultural journey and gratitude for the warm reception.


A faculty member from the College of Humanities and Law introduced the characteristics and achievements ofShengda's preschool education program and looked forward to further deepening teaching and research collaboration between the two universities to promote mutual learning and growth among young students.

Following the opening ceremony, the Taiwanese teachers and students visitedShengda's history museum, library, affiliated kindergarten, and various practical training facilities, and took a group photo in front of the Administration Building.




It is reported that the summer camp will last for 7 days. Participants will travel to Zhengzhou, Luoyang, Songshan, Kaifeng, and other locations to visit numerous historical and cultural sites, as well as enterprise parks. These include the Henan Museum, Longmen Grottoes, Songshan Shaolin Temple, the Hometown of the Yellow Emperor, and the Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden, allowing for an in-depth exploration of the profound and brilliantHenan Provinceculture.
