Recently, students of the Department of Foreign Languages of our University completed the mission of “Huaxia Xing” foreign affairs reception and returned with victory. This event was sponsored by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council and organized by the Overseas Affairs Office of the Henan Provincial Government. With the strong support of the school and the leadership of the school, Yan Bing, a Foreign Language department teacher, coordinated many things and finally helped our students participate in the reception of provincial delegations.

After strict selection and training in the Department of Foreign Languages, 5 students including the 2014 interpretation class and the foreign-related secretarial class Cui Minghui were selected.The students abide by the discipline of foreign affairs and are responsible for the work. They not only introduced the profound traditional culture of Henan to the foreign guests, but also demonstrated the good mental outlook and comprehensive quality of the students.

The  performance of the students in the internship activities was well received by the leaders of the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the province and foreign guests.

The successful implementation of this internship activity has improved our school’s social visibility and influence, reflecting the school’s high regard for internship practice teaching and the high quality of foreign language training for Foreign Language department. The Department of Foreign Languages will continue to focus on the combination of practice teaching and the combination of production, study and research, and provide students with more quality internship practice platforms.
