The First Spelling Bee Competition

The first spelling bee competition held by FLLD drew to a close at the night of November 29th. Among the 16 finalists, Hu Xiaoyu, a junior from Business English Class one won the laurel, followed by Pengxian and Zhangyawen.

This competition was initiated by Lester Paul, a foreign teacher from FLLD. He provided 2400RMB for the awards. Foreign teachers, Ryan Piche, Jeffery Woo, Robert Strugnell and Dennis Haughey acted as judges in the competition, while Cindy Nelson trained the contestants. All of them had spent great efforts on this competition, which made it a great success.
