The Foreign Language and Literature Department held a month long selection process and finally decided on two students to represent Shengda at the competition in Luoyang. On November 21 and 22, Xue Shi Tao and Liu Heng Chang competed with students from 30 other renowned Chinese universities such as Beijing Foreign Language University, Foreign Affairs University and Wu Han University.
