For the foreign teachers of Shengda I say “Merry Christmas! Sheng Dan Kuai Le!”

We thank you for inviting us to this wonderful dinner. We appreciate your kindness toward us. We are enjoying our evening with you and it will be a memorable experience for us. We hope that you are enjoying your evening with us also.

We admire your sincere dedication to higher education, and we believe your hard work and dedication have been important factors in your outstanding success.

We applaud the excellent work ethic of our students and the high expectations that the students live up to.

We appreciate the friendly and highly skilled people of Shengda's Foreign Affairs Office and Foreign Language Learning Department and our fellow teachers who were born and raised here in China. All of these make our living here and working here a pleasant experience.

Today is Christmas Eve. For two thousand thirteen years Christmas has been a time of giving and receiving gifts. Over the years Shengda has given us day trips to scenic places, dinners, thick warm blankets and suits of clothing, along with many other useful things. We truly appreciate these gifts and the gifts we have received from you this evening.

We foreign teachers also aspire to bring beneficial gifts to Shengda, day by day, as we thoughtfully teach our students and take satisfaction in seeing their success. We enjoy being a working part of Shengda University.

Again we say, Thank You and Merry Christmas!
