In the 2023 "Teaching Star" Competition of the Foreign Studies Association, the teaching team of the School of Foreign Languages, consisting of five teachers, including Zhang Baopei, Sun Lei, Sun Yanran, Jin Xiaoxiao, and Ma Tianyi, won the first prize of the English Specialty Group through their joint efforts.

The interdisciplinary team overcame many difficulties and completed the application writing and recording in a short period of time with high quality. The team's seriousness and patience won the judges' affirmation of the competition.

This is the third time that the team of the School of Foreign Languages participates in the "Teaching Star" competition of the Foreign Studies Association, and it has won the first prize for three consecutive times. This is not only the affirmation of the teaching quality of the college, but also the best reward for the professional development and curriculum construction.

The excellent results of the competition can not be separated from the care and support of the school leadership and the hard work of the teachers in charge of recording in the Training Center. "Teaching-oriented, promoting teaching by competition, promoting teaching by research, and growing together through teaching and research" is the concept of teacher development that the College of Foreign Languages has always been adhering to.  We believe that the School of Foreign Languages will have more excellent teaching and research results for the 30th Anniversary of the University.
