1. What facilities are available for shopping? Every Saturday FAO arranges a shopping bus for Foreign Teachers to Zhengzhou. Likewise, there are many shops on Campus and in Long Hu.   2. Are there any opportunities for cultural events? China has a long and rich history so there are many opportunities including traditional festivals and cultural activities. On Campus, there are many performances given during special occasions and important holidays. FAO also organizes visits to nearby tourist sites, such as the Yellow River Park, Kaifeng, Luoyang, Shaolin Temple, etc. 3. Are Western products available in Zhengzhou and Long Hu? In Long Hu, you can find most basic necessities and foodstuff. In Zhengzhou, there are supermarkets in that carry Western food products, liquor and toiletries. 4. What dining options are available on Campus and in Long Hu? There are many restaurants and canteens on campus offering a wide variety of food. There is one restaurant on Campus that sells Western style food. In Long Hu, there are dozens of restaurants, stalls selling street food, noodle shops and convenience stores, even a few restaurants selling Western style food. 5. What kinds of activities can I do on the weekend? On the weekend, you can go into Zhengzhou to shop, visit the museum, or hit the bars or clubs. On Campus, two films are shown on Friday night. Also every Friday and Saturday, the School holds a dance in the outdoor amphitheatre for the students. There are several parks within walking or riding distance.
