Frequently Asked Questions

Z Visa

1. How do I get a Z Visa?

First, FAO must turn in all of your documents (signed contract, resume, passport copies and Health Certificate) to the proper authorities. Once approved, Shengda is given an Invitation Letter for each applicant. It takes roughly three weeks to obtain the Invitation Letter.
Second, FAO sends the original Invitation Letter by EMS (Express Mail System - the most efficient way of sending mail in China) and faxes a copy. You take the Invitation Letter to the nearest Chinese Embassy, Consulate or Visa Office to apply for your Z Visa. This can take up to a week.
